​Mobile markets offer fresh ways to save on groceries amid rising costs

​The Food Group's Twin Cities Mobile Market in Minneapolis MN was featured on Good Morning America for bringing high quality, low cost produce to over 30 counties in Minnesota and Wisconsin.  The Veggie Van Training Center's Leah Vermont, Assistant Director of Partnership and Outreach, commented on the goals of Mobile Markets and the VVTC.

A Healthy Boost for UB’s ever-growing Veggie Van

Veggie Van recently received a $750,000 grant by the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) for expansion of the Veggie Van Training Center and Mobile Market Coalition.  Associate Professor, Lucia Leone, PhD, discussed some of the uses for the grant and the Veggie Van Training Center and Mobile Market Coalition's work.
